Short go at it.

Sorry about the delay in up dating here... been a touch busy with a lot of great things.  I am peicing together the baby blanket and have the boarder to knit up then add, but that won't take long.  And once that is done I will have pictures of that.
Next week is my weaving workshop... I will have tons of pictures there.  Hopefully I will update daily for you.  As I do each step I should be able to put up pictures.
Life is good... very very good.

Soon I will have focus.

Wow... wow... wow.  It has been a busy couple of weeks and it proboly isn't going to stop this week.  I am trying to complete the baby blanket but I feel like I am getting nowhere with it.  I know I need to finish the blocks.  I have two to go... that is it.  Just two blocks left then I can sew them togehter.  I know it shouldn't take me that long to do but it seems to be taking forever.  I just want to do it, just want to get it done.  I also, of course, have my mom's jacket.  I am working on that in between everything else, so hopefully some of that will get done here soon.  I know she would like that for fall, and I am sure I can get it done shortly if I focused but it is a matter of focusing.

Things that seem to draw away my focus:

1. The television.  It is the bane of my existance.  I did for a bit have the cable unhooked and that helped but then I hooked it back up and, zap, I am sucked back in.  Should prooboly unhook it and talk to JRoomie about moving it to her room, maybe.  Not sure on that yet.

2. The computer games.  Facebook games... and facebook itself are not easily jumped off of for me.  I am trying not to log in when I get home from work and just go to bed.  It is a little tough right now but maybe I can work it out.

3. Work and well... work.  Panera wants more and more of my phyical capability and well... I want to spend time with Mary Kay... it is fun for me.

4. The Have-To's.  These are the things you have to do or need to do.  It is tough right now to find that balance of life.  I am working on it though and hopefully I will have some of it figured out.

I am hoping to get some pictures up soon.  I just haven't played with the photoshop I have to put the random pictures I have from my camera up yet but I am working on it.  I have though managed to ask JRoomie to barrow her camera for the weaving workshop I am taking the first week of April.  So there defiantly will be pictures up in regards to that.

Soon soon and soon... that seems to be what I keep telling everyone.  Soon I will do, hopefully I can follow through.

Working on the UFOs... and other fuzzy strings.

I am almost done with the patches with the shapes in them.  I am finishing up the last of the peace symbols and will soon be starting the seven green squares to use as fillers.  Then it is trying to decide if I want to put a boarder on it.  I know I do not want to do fringe, however I might like a crochet boarder on it.  Then it is decideing what color the boarder is going to be. Alas that is life, and we live it.

I am continueing to knit away at my mommy's jacket.  That one is so soft but it does get a little boring at times to do.  Just boom boom boom... knit knit knit... and that is it.  I will finish it and I will give it to her but I think I am going to wait on my dad's for a month before I start it.

I am prepearing for my weaving workshop, looking at scrap fabric and finding out what gage 'string' I am going to use as the warp.  I want to play... I saw a pattern in Handweavers Magazine and I want to try something similar or my own creation/variation of it.  I want to play with fabric on the weft and then maybe get really bold and do it on the warp, but wait and see.

My UFO-Project (Un-Finished Objects), is slowly coming along.  Hopefully I will have one done for Tuesday, and another done for Wednesday.  The first for a birthday that happened last week and the second for a Yule gift that was changed around.  I can do it I know I can but it just takes time that I don't always have.  Some how I will finish them both.

I am still enjoying my life even though I am totally exhausted most of the time.  I will get pictures up eventually... once I have time to figure out how to work stuff on my computer and how to actually put up things on here... haven't had a lot of time to play.  I will find the time.  I will make the time.

Updates and lists.

Woo Hoo!! I have a computer willing to log me into my blog... who knew it was possible.  Still no pictures as of yet.  At least none I am willing to share or have figured out how to upload.  Yeah, just a little tech challenged here.  But that does not mean I do not have things to tell you, in the artistic realm.

I have drawn another character for the Kit Tales/Moosehold Chronicles (or some such thing since I haven't named it yet).  He is a blind mouse... I know been there done that but I like him.  I don't have a name for him yet but I like him.  He has two brothers/sisters, don't know which or both yet.  I also have some concept ideas for another character but I am not sure which story he will end up in.  I am likeing where my brain is right now.

I am thinking either this month or next doing a page a day challenge for the first of my comics.  Get the Moosehold Story drawn and inked and up for people to see.  I don't think I will be able to get it colored but at least drawn and inked.   I am not totally sure how I want it colored yet, that more then anything else is why I am waiting on coloring.  Of course I have to draw everything yet but alas... that is life.

For string, which is one of the major reasons why all of you are watching this loverly blog, I am doing well.  I have the three panels of my mom's jacket done and have started the first sleeve.  In fact that is where I was today, from 2pm to 5:30pm, I was sitting with my mom making sure she was doing well while we talked and I knitted.    She just loves the color and can not believe I am knitting it for her.

On a side note... why might you ask was I sitting with my mother making sure she is okay.  Well about a week ago Saturday mommy fell and broke her leg, near the knee joint.  She had surgery on Wednesday and has been ordered by the doctor not to put weight on it for eight weeks.  So, I am going out there on Mondays for a bit to keep her company and check up on things and allow her hubby to get out of the house.

Now back to string...

I am also working on the Smiles in Peace with Love baby blanket for my niece/nephew to be.  I have the Smiles done and the Hearts done and am working on finishing up the Peace Signs.  Then I have the other patches to finish and finally decide whether or not to do a boarder.

So a list of things that are being worked on...
-mom's jacket
-smiles in peace with love blanket
-drawing character designs for my comic before starting the challenge

We will see what gets done... pictures maybe tomorrow of stuff... taxes will hopefully repair the camera.
